Overview

The #GreenTalkSeries is CEGE’s dynamic, monthly Twitter/X Space discussion platform that brings together thought leaders, young activists, environmental experts, community leaders in Nigeria and from around the world. Our goal is to engage, inform, and inspire action on pressing environmental issues, fostering a global dialogue on sustainability, climate change, biodiversity, and nature-based solutions. By hosting these discussions on a platform that is easily accessible and interactive, we aim to create an inclusive space for diverse voices, with a focus on empowering youth and community leaders to drive positive environmental change.

Program Objectives:

The #GreenTalkSeries serves as a catalyst for raising awareness, encouraging collaboration, and inspiring actionable solutions. Specifically, to:

• Foster a global conversation on key environmental topics impacting youth and communities.
• Provide a platform for diverse voices, particularly youth, to share their ideas and solutions.
• Highlight innovative practices, policies, and actions that can drive environmental sustainability.
• Educate and inspire action by exploring topics such as climate change, pollution, waste management, biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy etc.
• Build connections and collaborations between young environmental leaders, NGOs, government agencies, and the private sector.
