About Us
Who We Are
Founded in 2017, the Center for Early Green Education (CEGE) is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a generation of young, environmentally conscious leaders. Operating with an apolitical stance, committed to inspiring and equipping young people, especially those aged 6-22, to:
- Champion sustainable solutions
- Lead the way toward a resilient and ecologically balanced future
Our mission is to empower young people with the right skills, knowledge, and hands-on experiences necessary to become proactive stewards of the environment. Through nature-based education, community-focused projects, and innovative learning initiatives, CEGE offers a platform where creativity, critical thinking, and leadership skills are nurtured to address the most pressing environmental challenges of today.
At CEGE, we believe that true sustainability begins with a profound connection to nature. Our programs are crafted to immerse young people in natural ecosystems, fostering a deep-rooted appreciation and respect that empowers them to advocate for the planet. This vision of a future led by empowered youth creating nature-based solutions in urban and peri-urban settings is at the heart of our organization. We focus our efforts on cultivating a commitment to environmental stewardship among young people from all backgrounds, prioritizing communities with high enthusiasm for ecological change.
In collaboration with educators, community leaders, and other stakeholders, we champions a culture of sustainability that is both innovative and deeply rooted in local realities. We invite supporters—donors, volunteers, and advocates—to join us in advancing our mission. Together, we are cultivating a new generation of environmental pioneers and creating sustainable solutions that will positively shape our world for generations to come.
